Data is Completely Compliant & anonymised
All data used by MeetPAT is completely anonymised on upload, and used only for the purposes of analysis and consumer segment identification in compliance with the POPI Act.
The MeetPAT application has been approved for its purpose by both Google & Facebook, allowing it to pass your customer data directly into their platforms. As well as POPIA, MeetPAT is compliant with individual platform privacy requirements.
Customer data is uploaded, anonymised, encrypted, and used to create the “Know Your Audience” dashboard, allowing you to filter it by various customer demographic metrics, and save the results as custom audiences to onboard into your Facebook or Google advertising accounts.
No customer data can be downloaded again, and no personally identifiable information is disclosed to any party, including the client themselves, except for the purpose of supplying the service.
3rd Party Online Marketing & POPI Act Compliance
Google, Facebook, Instagram & YouTube all allow you to upload your customer base directly into their platforms in order to show targeted ads to your customers, exclude your existing customers, or find new audiences based on your customer lists.
If you make use of a 3rd party agency, they’ll usually be the ones that upload your data to these ad platforms.
Traditionally this data has been shared freely between agency & client, but this practice is not POPIA compliant unless you have explicit consent from the customer to share their data with a 3rd party for a specific purpose.
In most cases, agencies don’t have strict data policies and procedures in place to protect your data.
MeetPAT Online Marketing POPI Act Compliance
MeetPAT lets your marketing agency carry on using your customer data, in a POPIA-compliant environment.
Your internal teams can log into MeetPAT, and within a few minutes they can upload your customer lists into the MeetPAT platform.
Your agency will then log into MeetPAT, where they will have no access to your customer data, but will be able to dashboard it as necessary, and upload the saved audiences directly into Google, Facebook, Instagram & YouTube for advertising, without accessing any personally identifiable information.
